update

Hi All!

The NRA Members Council has a new meeting location:
The El Cajon Elk’s Lodge
1400 E. Washington Avenue
El Cajon, CA 92019-2534
Meeting is tonight, second Wednesday of the month, April 10, 2013.
Come early (6:00 PM) to have dinner and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Having dinner is not required. Come early to talk guns.
Meeting open to all NRA Members. Pro 2nd Amendment folk can come as my guest.
Stay up to date with the latest news on gun laws and other gun issues.
You can also join other people fighting to retain and strengthen our right to keep and bear arms by participating in various activities.
If you live in the 80th Assembly District and have been watching the news about the coming Special Election don’t despair. There is a strong 2nd Amendment Republican running in that race. Governor Brown and the Democrats seem to have manipulated the system to keep Republicans off the ballot in this race by the use of arcane election laws and quick action that made it virtually impossible for anyone to get on the ballot without prior knowledge of what Democrat Governor Jerry Brown ended up doing. To vote for the 2nd Amendment candidate, you will need to go to the write-in part of the ballot and fill in the oval with a pen and write the name Lincoln Pickard on the line next to the oval. For some up to date details about the campaign: https://twitter.com/Linc2000 .
We have a strong advocate for the Second Amendment radio host that can be heard daily on the internet. Many of us would like to hear her on one of the regular stations so that we could hear her while driving in our cars. A call to local radio stations by many of us could make that happen. Her name is Dr. Gina Loudon.http://drginaloudon.com/
You can call, email or write a comment to ask the stations to include her in their programming:
Thank you

Lincoln Pickard

Greetings Patriots and Friends,

In 2004, Ann Coulter published her popular book, How to Talk to a Liberal (if you must).  Well, whether we like it or not, are comfortable with it or not, the time has come, and WE MUST.

Ann Coulter 2

Come this Tuesday night (details below) to “iCaucus Tuesday” to begin a series of discussions and trainings on how we can reframe the narrative the liberals have created over the last 50 years and begin to TAKE BACK OUR NATION.  With tips from Ann”s book and from Waking the Sleeping Giant, by Timothy Daughtry and Gary Casselman, we can help each other learn how to “beat them at their own game”.  You can”t learn if you”re not there, so BE THERE.  You”ll love it, you”ll be encouraged, and you”ll be EMPOWERED.  BRING A FRIEND.

PLEASE RSVP TO [email protected] BY MONDAY, 2/18, SO WE CAN GIVE THE RESTAURANT AN IDEA OF HOW MANY TO EXPECT.  AND PLEASE COME TO ORDER DINNER–IT”S HOW WE GET THE ROOM FOR FREE.

Ramona Tea’d monthly meeting Feb 23rd

Dear Friends of Ramona Tea’d,

Our
next Community Forum/Town Hall Meeting will be held on

Saturday,
February 23.

Friends,
in recent years we have witnessed the emergence of a critical
alteration in the course of Western Civilization in the Middle East.
We are pleased to welcome J. J. Surbeck for an enlightening
perspective.

This program will be a primer on the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict — history, myth and reality.  It will
address settlements, right of return, borders, etc.  Many believe such
an understanding is fundamental to a properly informed grasp of
today’s events.
J. J. is also a uniquely qualified expert on Iran and Egypt, and the
tectonic power shifts taking place in the entire region.  J. J. will
answer questions on these topics, of course, but his focus for this
Forum will be on the fundamentals of conflict between Hamas and Israel.
J.J. Surbeck is a
Swiss-educated attorney who worked for 16 years for the famously
discrete International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Swiss
private organization which many have dubbed the “Guardian of the
Geneva Conventions”. He was the ICRC’s P.R. point person for North
America from 1984 to 1989.

Recently, J.J. helped create – and is
the Executive Director of – a non-profit organization called
T.E.A.M. (Training and Education About the Middle East) with a focus
on presenting a more balanced image of the Middle East conflict than
the one projected by the media and many academics.

We are highly privileged to
welcome J. J. Surbeck to our Ramona TEA’d Forum!  Please join us!
PLEASE DO
bring a new
friend to the meeting!

As usual, we will be showing
great video footage as a preliminary!

We hope to see you then,
friends!
Sincerely,
Ramona TEA’d

National Anti-Obama Protest Saturday, February 16, 2013

This is an Anti-Obama/Impeach Obama protest from an overpass.  Around 10-15k people will drive by and see our signs.  News Reports of the last protest were broadcast by three local TV channels.  So, maybe 50k San Diegans saw the last such protest or a news broadcast about it.

RSVP HERE: http://www.meetup.com/StopObamaNowSD/events/101525072/

This protest is on the same day as a planned nationwide protest, a March on the state capitol buildings.  Hopefully, we have a good turnout and also get good media coverage.

American Resistance Rally Against Obama (National Event)

A lot of us will not be able to make it to Sacramento and, for that reason, this event in San Diego has been scheduled.

Multiple groups will participate in this protest.  So, more participants are expected than those that RSVP here.

Bring signs with big letters.  To be easily read from cars below, you will need about 8-12 inch high letters. There will be extra signs,  If you don’t have time to make your own, we can give you one.

US and Gadsden flags are  also good and anything colorful.  Signs with smaller letters will be readable by cars driving over the overpass, but maybe not from the freeway.  They will, though, probably make the group more visible.  Bring them, if you want.

Here are some tips on making signs that will be readable from the overpass.  Have also posted some images there that you can have printed out cheaply at Staples.

How to Make Large Signs for Overpass Protests

Video Clip of the Last Event

As mentioned there were three TV news reports on the last protest.  Unfortunately, only video of the Telemundo report (subtitled) was available for download.  At least we can claim we received international attention. (LoL)  Our protest was broadcast also in Tijuana.
