April 26 – How To Talk To A Couch Potato, AND get them off the couch. An interactive lesson led by Dr. Ray Usell

April 26 – How To Talk To A Couch Potato, AND get them off the couch. An interactive lesson led by Dr. Ray Usell
Too many citizens apply consumer attitudes to their citizenship. They judge candidates and issues like they buy breakfast cereal. If the box looks attractive, they buy it. If the slogan is attractive like “Breakfast of Champions”, they buy it. They watch ads mindlessly. If they see ads repeatedly, they believe them. If they don’t need cereal at the moment, they don’t look at the boxes (between elections) or even go to the store (don’t vote).
TO WAKE UP COUCH POTATOES, you need to talk with them. To talk with them you need to have something motivating to say and believe it yourself. Come to this meeting to critically examine and dialogue about non-partisan talking points that EVERY CITIZEN will care about: Massive public debt, social security, Medicare, taxation, government waste, government corruption, prejudiced press, & corrupt politicians.  Bring issues you believe can have universal non-partisan appeal to this event.
Talking with others needn’t be difficult or stressful. All you need to do is apply 3 common-sense ideas from one of the most successful movements in human history. You’ll learn what they are and find that practicing them is better than watching Reality TV! This will be an entertaining “Think & Do” meeting facilitated by Ray Usell.
About the speaker:
Raymond Usell is trained in science and law (Ph.D. Materials Science; J.D.). He’s writing a book on how to foster political moderation.

ALL SESSIONS WILL BE HELD AT THE Country Club of Rancho Bernardo on the date specified beginning at 7 PM.CCRB is located at 12280 Greens East Road, San Diego, CA 92128. DIRECTIONS

Tax Day Tea Party Protest (April 16th)

 Monday, April 16th from 5-7PM:

RSVP HERE: http://www.meetup.com/San-Diego-Tea-Party/events/59871042/

We know what some of your friends are saying.  They are simply way too busy for a Tea Party rally.  Our answer to this is simple.  So are we.  That is why we only host one GREAT event per year and fill the time with entertaining, engaging speakers known both locally and nationally.  We only ask that once a year, we can all get together for two hours, in the quest for liberty, free-markets, and limited government. Your participation in this event will, in turn, bring out the Press and suddenly, your two-hours is used to reach potentially millions of people.  That’s not a bad way to spend a Monday afternoon.

Yes, we are again expecting several thousand attendees, and no, parking has never been an issue.  Please visit the STU website for more details and while you are there, please download and print 10 copies of our promotional flyer and share it with your neigbhors.  If each of our registered supporters did this, we would personally invite over 200,000 people to this event!
