JULY 29-30 – SMART GIRL POLITICS SUMMIT
When Smart Girl Politics was still in its infancy, our members made us aware of their desire to see a modern-day leadership conference by conservative women, for conservative women. We listened and held our first Smart Girl Summit (SGS) in Nashville in September of 2009. The event was sold out and followed with rave reviews. The goal of SGS is to bring conservative women together with some of our country’s most powerful conservative female voices. The presence at our first summit of women like Liz Cheney, Michelle Malkin and Congressman Marsha Blackburn highlighted the important role conservative women play – and will continue to play – in taking leadership roles in their communities. In 2010, we brought Smart Girl Summit to Washington, D.C., and featured Reps. Michele Bachmann and Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Liz Cheney, S.E. Cupp, Rachel Campos-Duffy and a host of leading conservative voices.
Smart Girl Summit 2011 will take place in St. Louis, MO, in the shadow of the Arch. We wanted to move into the heartland so that we can better reach women and other conservatives who can’t easily make it to the east coast. This year’s event will continue to focus on training and activism, with an eye toward the presidential election of 2012. Please stop by often for updated information.
And, of course, we intend to continue to grow Smart Girl Summit in reach and influence in order to make it the must-attend event for today’s conservative woman activist.
If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, make sure you take advantage of the early bird rate of $75 and student rates of $25. This event will sell out so get them soon.
